²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those ^(A)who are the called according to His purpose. ²⁹ For whom ^(B)He foreknew, ^(C)He also predestined ^(D)to be conformed to the image of His Son, ^(E)that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. ³⁰ Moreover whom He predestined, these He also ^(F)called; whom He called, these He also ^(G)justified; and whom He justified, these He also ^(H)glorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? ^(I)If God is for us, who can be against us? ^32 (J)He who did not spare His own Son, but ^(K)delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? ³³ Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? ^(L)It is God who justifies. ^34 (M)Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, ^(N)who is even at the right hand of God, ^(O)who also makes intercession for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written:

^37 (Q)Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

The Just Live by Faith

¹⁶ For ^(A)I am not ashamed of the gospel ^[a]of Christ, for ^(B)it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, ^(C)for the Jew first and also for the Greek. ¹⁷ For ^(D)in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ^(E)“The just shall live by faith.”

²⁰ For ^(A)the kingdom of God is not in word but in ^(B)power.

Sending Out the Twelve^(A)

9 Then ^(B)He called His twelve disciples together and ^(C)gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. ^2 (D)He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

²⁰ Now ^(A)to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly ^(B)above all that we ask or think, ^(C)according to the power that works in us, ^21 (D)to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

²⁸ Him we preach, ^(A)warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, ^(B)that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. ²⁹ To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me ^(C)mightily.

^57 (A)But thanks be to God, who gives us ^(B)the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

^58 (C)Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing ^(D)that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

⁴ For ^(A)whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that ^(B)has overcome the world—^[a]our faith.
